Introducing the NEW Abbey Credit Union Money Market Account!



Like a savings account, a money market account holds deposits that earn interest. However, money markets require a higher balance to avoid monthly fees. Because of these deposit requirements, money market accounts tend to carry a higher rate compared to savings accounts. Abbey Credit Union now offers this service to members.

Disclosure – Money Market account

$2,500.00 minimum – if minimum amount is not kept in the Money Market Account a fee may apply and the interest rate will be reduced to the current Share Savings Rate

Maximum of 6 withdraws per month- a fee of $5.00 will apply for each withdraw over six

$500.00 minimum withdraw- any amount withdrawn less than $500.00 will be subject to a fee of $5.00

A Share Savings account must be present to qualify for a Money Market Account Dividends paid monthly and subject to change monthly



IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT PROCEDURES FOR OPENING A NEW ACCOUNT. To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify and record information that identifies each person who opens an account. What this means for you: When you open an account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask to see your driver’s license or other identifying documents.
