Full Time Position in Vandalia, and a Saturday rotation is required.
Responsible for presenting and explaining a number of credit union products and services to members
and assisting them in utilizing these products and services. This person must communicate effectively
through the telephone or in person with prospective and current members and to represent the credit
union in a positive and professional manner.
Must have in-depth knowledge of all credit union services, operational policies and procedures, and is able to communicate this knowledge effectively to staff and members. Attention to detail and time management is imperative. Supportive of the Credit Union leadership towards change, always displaying positive actions to the staff and peers. Willing to work at any branch location. Some evenings and weekends are required.

Develop, manage, and maintain reliable accounting information and reporting on income, expenses, assets, liabilities,
and capital for management planning and decision making and for fulfillment of financial reporting requirements.
Reconcile GL and bank accounts.
Ensure that reports, accounts, systems, policies and practices adhere to generally accepted accounting principles
Must have knowledge of all accounting functions, operational policies and procedures, and be able to apply this knowledge effectively. Attention to detail and time management is imperative. Must be able to complete all assigned tasks timely and accurately. Supportive of the Credit Union leadership towards change, always displaying positive actions to the peers.
Willing to work as needed. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred, but not required if experience is commensurate. At least three years of experience in a bank, credit union, finance company or savings and loan, or the equivalent combination of formal training and experience obtained at a depository institution of comparable size and complexity.
