V.P. of Lending
Plans, organizes and directs activities of the Consumer, Mortgage and Member Business Lending areas and Collections. Develops strategic growth and financial profitability plans involving consumer, mortgage, and commercial loans as well as loss prevention control through appropriate asset quality and collection strategy implementation.
Plans and develops goals and objectives. Implements actions to achieve those goals and objectives through subordinate staff. Recommends authority and lending limits for loan officers.
Develops lending and collection policies, procedures, and processes, including staffing and functional efficiencies, and operational connectors between departments that result in departmental productivity, exceptional service delivery to borrowers and sound, cost effective underwriting.
Ensures compliance with Federal regulations (i.e. B, X, Z, FDCPA, HMDA, and all other state and federal regulations) related to lending and collections.
At least five years lending experience in a bank, credit union or finance company, or the equivalent combination of formal training and experience obtained at a credit granting institution of comparable size and complexity.
